WellSpring Weekly

September 05, 2024

Dear Parents,

Well done on a great second week of school! Things are starting to feel settled around the school and students are working hard in all their classes. There have been new schedules to get used to, new teachers, new classrooms and of course, for our EC students, some separation anxiety that is all a normal part of a new school year. We are proud of our students, parents and staff for navigating these early days well. Our Athletics program has already started, and our Clubs start from next week. Make sure to sign up as soon as possible. Look out for information on the musical this year, which will be taking a different format and offered as an after-school Club.

Co-curriculars:

Clubs and Athletics

We are delighted to offer an exciting range of co-curricular activities (Athletics and Clubs) for your child/children to participate in. Due to changes in the EISSA (Emirates International Schools’ Sports Association – the school sports league we participate in) schedule we have formed two shorter sub terms for Term 1 Athletics (Term 1A and Term 1B).

Athletics practices began on Monday, and cut off for Athletic sign-ups will be tomorrow, Friday 6 September. Please see the form for more details on athletics or contact Mr. Luke at luke.johnson@tws-rak.org.

Clubs will begin Monday, 16 September. For more information regarding Clubs please contact Mrs. Rachel at rachel.graeff@tws-rak.org.

Please note information is also posted in Lunch Room on Canvas.

The details of the practice schedule will be shared on Tuesday, September 10th.
Audition sign-ups should be submitted by Friday, September 13.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 24 (3:30-5:00pm) and Thursday, September 26 (3:15-5:00pm).
The Cast list will be posted on Friday, September 27.

Please see the Musical Club in Lunch Room on Canvas for more details.
