Dear Parents,
It was great to be back at school this week! We are grateful that we can continue in-person, especially with the activities planned in the run up to the Eid break.
We’ve begun our third and final round of MAP testing this week for KG2 through 10th Grade. Make sure your children are getting enough sleep and are ready to give their best each day.
We are hosting an Open Day this Saturday – let your family and friends know they are warmly invited. Next week is our Elementary Fine Arts Celebration – see the details below and make plans to attend!
Please take note of all the important upcoming dates and events, and don’t miss this week’s highlights at the end of the newsletter!

Re-enrollment for 2026-27
You would have received messages on Canvas about re-enrollment for next school year. Information includes how to re-enroll (2 steps), and includes our updated fees for next year. Please make sure to complete re-enrollment as soon as possible to secure your child’s place for next year. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership.
Note, we are offering a 5% discount if tuition is paid in full by the end of June 2026.
Cognia accreditation visit
Last week, an international accreditation team from the US, Canada, Egypt, Korea, and The Netherlands conducted an in-depth review of all the LifePlus schools. They examined strategic improvement plans, student and program data, and met with parents, students, staff, and the Board of Governors.
While the official report has not yet been published, the team was highly impressed by the quality of our schools and their impact on students. In particular, they highlighted the unique and exceptional community across all LifePlus schools, describing it as “distinct, unique, and different.” They noted how strongly our community reflects the LifePlus 9 Qualities for Life, and praised the systems in place at every level that effectively support both student well-being and academic growth.
The team shared that this was a very strong review process, and they left with an overwhelmingly positive impression of the quality of our schools. We look forward to sharing
the official report and its details with you once it becomes available.
Fees installment
Term 3 tax invoices have been sent to all parents in compliance with FTA guidelines. Please note that they reflect only the charges and/or adjustments related to the third installment. Kindly disregard this invoice if payment has already been made.
Term 3 tuition fees were due on 01 April.
Payment can be made through the Skiply app, direct deposit, or bank transfer.
If the re-enrollment fee is paid while there is still an outstanding balance for Term 3, please note that the fee will be applied toward the unpaid tuition. As a result, your child’s place for the 2026–2027 academic year will not be secured. Please contact Finance for assistance or to discuss a payment plan.

Purpose
Each month we focus on one of our 9 Qualities for Life. May is the month of Purpose - seeking the reason why it is made or done.
- We see ourselves and others as created with value and importance.
- We will use our talents for more than just ourselves.
Our inspiration this month comes from Drs. Pat and Marian Kennedy, who helped transform healthcare in the UAE through lives of purpose-driven service. Invited by H. H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1960, the husband-and-wife team moved to Al Ain and established Oasis Hospital, now Kanad Hospital - the first modern hospital in the region.
At a time when healthcare access was extremely limited, they dedicated their skills to caring for families across the community, especially mothers and newborns. Known for their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to serving all people equally, the Kennedys left a lasting impact on the UAE. Their work earned the respect and support of Sheikh Zayed and his family, and they cared for many members of the royal family, including the delivery of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, now President of the UAE.
Their legacy reminds us that true purpose is found in using our talents to serve others, strengthen communities, and bring hope where it is needed most.
End of year dates and plans
We are aware that families are making plans to travel at the end of the school year, and we wanted to draw your attention to the expectation from RAK DOK and MOE that compels students to attend school up until the final date set by the school. Consequently, we unfortunately will not be able to adjust dates or assessments to meet families’ travelling needs.
End of year Calendar highlights
Looking at the end of year dates, July 1 will be a half day of school and July 2 and 3 will be kept for make-up exams.
The new school year for 2026-27 will begin on August 31.
Have a look at the highlights of the week.
Enjoy your weekend!
