We hope you’ve had an enjoyable, restful summer with family and friends. Welcome back to those who traveled or will be returning soon. We are busy preparing for the new school year and there is quite a bit of information to communicate before school begins. Please take note of the information below, and look out for more details in next week’s newsletter.

We are excited to inform you that, starting this year, our school uniform sales will be handled by Color Shades Uniforms at their location in Al Naeem City Center, Al Dhait. They are located on the 1st floor next to RedTag. This change is part of our ongoing effort to make your experience as seamless and convenient as possible.

From Tuesday, August 20th, Color Shades Uniforms will be available to assist you with your uniform needs from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. We believe that this extended schedule will provide you with greater flexibility and ease when purchasing uniforms for your children.

We trust that this new arrangement will simplify the process and enhance your overall experience. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Please note the details for the first day of school. It will not look like a regular day, but will be aimed at new students in the morning, Grade 6 students who are new to Secondary this year, a Zoom introduction for all Secondary, and finally, an Open House for the parents of all (both new and returning) students in the afternoon.

Monday, August 26th is an orientation day with a modified schedule:

• 8 – 10 AM – All NEW Students and their Parents
• 8 – 10 AM – All Grade 6 students’ orientation for Secondary
• 11 AM – 12 PM – All Secondary online zoom introduction to the school year.

Please look out for the Zoom link and other details on Canvas next week (new families will have their Canvas accounts set up in the morning at the New Students session, so will be ready to join this Zoom introduction)

• 3:30 - 5:30 PM – Open House for parents of ALL new and returning students

All parents are invited to the Open House for an opening presentation, time for parents and kids to drop off materials, see the classroom, meet the teacher etc. More information will be communicated next week with all the details for Monday, including where to park and the venues for the meetings.

Tuesday, August 27th – First regular day of school in person with all students, start at 7:50am.

If you are needing transport to/from school, please fill in the Bussing sign-up sheet on this link. You are also welcome to call Ms. Passant directly at 050 509 2823 for any questions. Bus information will be sent out to those families who have signed up for this service.

For those returning students who have still not been re-enrolled for this new school year: please settle any balances, pay the re-enrollment fee, and register on PowerSchool for your child as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee your child’s seat for the year unless they have been re-enrolled.

The PowerSchool process is via the parent portal. Log into your account, and there is a section for re-enrolling your child(ren) easily and electronically.

We are still accepting students in some classes. If you have friends or family who would like to join WellSpring, please make sure to apply as soon as possible as space is filling up quickly.
