Dear Parents,

A somewhat quieter week as we get ready for end of semester assessments, tests and exams next week. We wish all the best to our students as they prepare well.

A shout out to our WellSpring athletes as they competed in the WellSpring Football Festival hosted at the school. Our athletes and supporters have shown great character and sportsmanship throughout the games so far, and we’re excited for the games still to be played this afternoon and on Monday. Go WellSpring Wolves!

Culture Day

We are looking forward to Culture Day on February 20. It is a day dedicated to celebrating and learning about the wonderful variety of nations and cultures represented within WellSpring. We would love for our whole school community to be involved. Here are some ways:

Be planning and preparing for your child to come to school dressed in something that represents their country/ethnicity.
Be planning to bring food from your country to share.
Make plans to attend! There will be student performances as well as booths to enjoy.
Join the WhatsApp Group for your region that was sent on WhatsApp. By joining the group, food and decorations can be coordinated for each region. If you did not receive the links on WhatsApp, please contact the front office.

Stakeholder Survey

Every year we conduct a survey that helps us measure objectives set by the MOE. We do this because we care about what parents believe about the school, and it helps us take action and support continuous school improvement. Please click on the link below. The survey should take about 5-7 minutes, and will be open for 2 weeks.

Admissions

Admissions season for the 2025-26 academic year is open. However, we want to offer an early opportunity for our current families. If you have other children who will be joining WellSpring in August 2025, we will waive the AED500 registration fee if the application form and complete admission documents are submitted before January 31, 2025.
After this, admissions will proceed as usual.

Quality of the month:

Service

Each month we focus on one of our 9 Qualities for Life. January is the month of Service – seeing what needs to be done and doing it.

We will use our energy, time, resources, and talents to help those around us.
We will take care of the world around us.

Our inspiration this month is Harriet Tubman (1822–1913) - an extraordinary figure in American history known for her deep faith, bravery, and commitment to freedom. She escaped slavery and risked her life to lead others to freedom.

Calendar
In order to plan out the rest of the year well, here are some important dates for your calendar:

The final day of school will be June 24, with make-up exams from June 25-27.
And then looking further ahead, the first day of the 2025-26 school year will be Monday, August 25.
