One of the most significant changes is the upgrade of Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Road (E11), an important artery through RAK city. From September 2025, this major road is being widened with new lanes, bridges, tunnels, and upgraded utilities such as electricity, telecoms, drainage, and lighting.
