WellSpring is active!

WellSpring represented at the RAK Half Marathon on February 1st! It was such a fun day with WellSpring students, staff and families participating in the 21km, 10km, 5km and 2km races. Thank you to the organizers for such a successful event!

Some of our students also participated in the RAK Medical and Health Sciences University's 13th annual Marathon on February 4th. Students Caroline Manly and Leah Kingma came 1st and 2nd respectively in the girls' race, while Reeves Manly and Mohamed Khaled came in the top 10 in the boys' race. A massive well done to our students!

The life cycle of a rock! 🪨

Grade 7's had the opportunity to become authors of children's books and read them to the grade 2's! They've been learning about the formation of rocks and ended the unit by creating a fun and engaging story about the rock cycle.
Because they were writing a children’s book, they needed to write at a level that kids will understand and enjoy while still demonstrating a firm grasp on the process of the rock cycle. In the story, their rock had to go through changes to become an igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock.

Elementary library is open!

The Elementary library has re-opened! Students were introduced to our new and improved check-out system. 📚📖
