Highlights of the Week, October 31

EC Assessments

The Early Childhood (EC) classes had their assessments for Quarter 1 this past week. Each student was assessed on their progress in numeracy, letter sounds, writing, speaking, character education and motor skills. We are excited to see the growth in their learning and development.

LUXBit Korean Dance company

We were so honored to have the LUXBit Korean dance company visit our school this week. The dancers, some of who are visually impaired, performed several dances for our students. Their performance included an interactive question time and a chance for a volunteer to experience the process of learning a dance without the benefit of sight. Their courage and professionalism were a wonderful example to our students, who have been learning about the quality of courage this past month.

College Fair

We were excited to have the College Fair again this year. This is an excellent opportunity for our high school students and their parents to see the various university and college options that are available locally and abroad. We are happy to offer this service to our students, and aim to grow the number of exhibiting universities.
