WellSpring Weekly

June 26, 2024

Dear Parents,

Thank you for a wonderful year filled with both successes and challenges. Looking back, we did many things this past year, some new and some regulars on our calendar. A few things that really stand out are the exceptional opportunity of having the astronauts visit our school which broadened our students’ worldview and influenced their life choices. The Ride for Unity, with WellSpring as the only participating school in RAK, was also a wonderful and unique opportunity to shine in the areas of kindness and inclusivity, areas that our school already holds dear. We’ve had fantastic athletics seasons including competing at EISSA tournaments, and opportunities for creativity and learning new things at after school Clubs. We put on two musicals, a Family Fall Festival and Life Skills Festival, we’ve grown gardens, competed strongly in Arabic competitions, showcased our learning to parents and peers, and had to say a bittersweet farewell to our #classof2024 seniors. We also got our independent school license this year!

Overall, our students have had many opportunities to learn, love and lead in the classroom, on the sports field, in their friendship groups, and in new opportunities where they’ve been stretched and had to dig a little deeper. Let’s keep growing as we continually set our high expectations before us.

Well done all on a great 2023-24!
