2023-24

KG2/Senior Walk

On Tuesday our KG2 and senior students walked the hallways in their graduate gowns to the cheers of the rest of the school. We love this tradition of celebrating our youngest and oldest graduates. #classof2024

Spelling Bee 🐝
Well done to 4th grader Ali Talahmeh for winning the elementary Spelling Bee! And doing so for the 3rd year in a row! 🏆👏👏👏
Well done to all the Spelling Bee contestants, it was an exciting 25 rounds of tricky spelling.

Mousetrap cars

Our grade 7 & 8 STEM class raced their mousetrap cars yesterday. A mousetrap car is a model car made from simple materials that is powered by a mousetrap, and works on the principle of a lever. The car is placed on the floor and released. As the lever arm snaps back, the potential energy from the tightened spring is transferred to kinetic energy, pulling the string, which in turn rotates the rear axle and the car is propelled forward. The STEM students needed to design cars that would be able to travel at least 10 meters.
