Highlights of the Week, April 24

Happy Earth Day 🌍

To celebrate Earth Day our students got to plant trees! 🌳 Ms. Emma explained how young Ghaf trees, the national tree of the UAE, have thorns around their stems to protect themselves from being eaten by animals, so be careful when planting!
Students then had the option to eat a date but save the pit to plant, water and watch grow into a date palm. 🌱🌴
If we want to create a future where our children become good stewards of the earth, we need to be intentional about how we educate them.

Field trip to the Fire Station 🚒

KG1 enjoyed their field trip to the Fire Station this week! We are grateful that the weather was good and our young students were able to experience learning outside of the classroom.

Discernment awards

Each month, WellSpring focuses on one of our #9QualitiesForLife. March was the month of Discernment - 'thinking carefully and applying truth to my daily decisions'.
Students who displayed the quality of discernment were recognized during assembly this week.
